This guide is designed to provide support for everyone who assesses SQA qualifications. It is based around the principles of assessment and covers the full range of SQA qualifications. It is a revision of the Guide to Assessment 2009.

This guide is designed to help centres to develop best practice in the development and conduct of assessment for Ofqual regulated qualifications.  It is based around SQA’s principles of assessment. It replaces the previous guide of April 2010.

SQA Guidelines on e-assessment for Schools

These guidelines have been developed from the results of various projects which have explored e-assessment and online assessment.
