Understanding Standards Event

This all-day event, to be held in Stirling, is provided free of charge and is an ideal opportunity for those delivering the Course to familiarise themselves with both the external verification process and the standards applied in the marking of the Thematic Presentation. The event will include opportunities to assess exemplar folios to come to an understanding of where marks can or cannot be awarded in the Thematic Presentation.

Places are limited to one person per centre, however SQA will maintain a reserve list and offer additional spaces if available.

To apply for a place, complete the attached reply form and return to SQA by Thursday 29 October 2009.

Details of the venue and programme will be issued to all registered delegates approximately two weeks prior to the event.
