First Line Support Technician

A first line support technician should have a good knowledge of all of the parts of a modern computer system and how they work and how they are connected together, however, it will be unlikely that the first line of support will be taking the computer apart and repairing internal faults.

The task of the first line support technician will be to assist the user by resolving common errors and knowing when to escalate problems that are outside their technical expertise.
