Other TCP/IP Services

We have looked at the protocol that we will be using (or are using as this is the default protocol used when installing Windows). Now we need to look at other services that are needed on the computer to run with TCP/IP. The following are the default services that are installed.

Computer service Description
Client for Microsoft Networks Allows your computer to access resources on a Microsoft Network
File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks Allows other computers to access shared resources on your computer
QoS Packet Scheduler Quality of Service Packet Scheduler. This component provides network traffic control including rate of flow and prioritisation services
