Communication and Professionalism

A computer technician will find themselves in constant contact with clients and customers. These dealing require that technical staff have the appropriate "soft skills" and will be able to communicate and interact with the client in order to solve technical issues to the clients' satisfaction.

Many people would argue that "soft skills" are only a matter of common-sense and good manners. And this is true, however, these "soft skills" can be learned and any technician who is not willing to learn or apply them may not find themselves in a job for too long.
