Digital Publishing - SharePoint Subject Pages

The development of the SharePoint subject pages has been progressing throughout the summer months.

Centres will be able to access all required documents for pilot delivery, in a more user-friendly and visually appealing platform. Unit Specification, Educator Guides and Grading information documents, among other considerations will be accessed through SharePoint subject pages. Furthermore, the Resulting/Certification site will be linked on the pages, where centres will input the overall qualification grade for their learners.

The SharePoint pages will be published in stages throughout August and September. The first three subject pages to become available by the end of August, will be:

New Product Development Managers (NPDMs) will notify centres directly when the remaining subject pages are live. NPDMs should have also provided centres with a resource pack containing all edited Unit Specifications, the Educator Guide and the Grading model document and matrix.

The resource packs were issued during w/c 15 August to the SQA Co-ordinator or Quality Manager, for distribution among their delivery teams. If you have not received your resource pack, please contact your New Product Development Manager.
Access to SharePoint will be restricted to individuals delivering the NextGen: HN pilot qualifications. Your NPDM should have been in touch requesting this information. Therefore, if you have not already, please contact your NPDM with the names of your delivery teams and access to SharePoint can be arranged accordingly.
Once the subject pages have been launched, centres will be invited to take part in a workshop to introduce them to SharePoint and give them the opportunity to solve any queries they may have. The workshop will be delivered by SQA’s Digital Publishing team.
