Working Group becomes Advisory Group
At the start of the NextGen: HN pilot academic year in 2021 we established an Articulation and Progression Stakeholder Working Group, to engage with external stakeholders. Chaired by a senior figure from Higher Education the group contains a mixture of SQA staff and representatives from colleges, employers/training providers and universities. With the addition of Grading to this area of the project, we have recently changed the remit of the group to become the Articulation, Progression and Grading Advisory Group.
The remit of the group will continue to ensure that all NextGen: HN qualifications enable pathways for articulation and progression and additionally will account for new approaches to grading.
The Group meets quarterly and will offer advice, guidance and feedback to the separate Articulation & Progression and Grading Working Groups which sit internally to SQA and meet on a monthly basis to progress work relating to these areas.
