Grading Case Study: TV
A meeting was held in February to review approaches to grading within the NextGen TV pilot delivery.
Members of our NextGen TV pilot centres met with Gail English (Qualification Manager), Kirsty Mitchell (Qualification Officer), Jane Henderson (New Product Development Manager), Andrew Newman (Policy and Research Manager), Emma McNair (External Quality Assurer) and James Wilson (Senior External Verifier). The pilot centre leads, Dominic Phillips and Alan Moffat, demonstrated assessment strategies alongside the platforms they have developed to capture and support this activity. The meeting encouraged detailed discussions and allowed the NextGen team to view videos produced as evidence and discuss the outcomes.
Meeting with the pilot centre leads was a pleasure and resulted in rich conversation. We look forward to continuing our work with them, alongside all our pilot centre colleagues.
