Non-academic appeals process update

We recently published an updated document, ‘The Appeals Process: Information for Centres’, that sets out the grounds and processes for appeal in relation to a range of decisions SQA may make, excluding academic judgements. Please note that this is different to the academic judgement appeals service – Appeals 2023 – for the National Qualification diet for 2022–23.

A version of this document has been available for many years, so you may already be familiar with it. The key updated section is ‘Ofqual or Qualifications Wales (for qualifications regulated in England and Wales)’ in relation to specific instances of malpractice. We have also made minor wording amendments throughout.
