Understanding Standards - new events announced for Environmental Science and RMPS

We have added two new events to our 2023-24 Understanding Standards programme for National 5 and Higher Environmental Science, and an extra date for National 5 Religious, Moral and Philosophical Studies (RMPS).

New events for National 5 and Higher Environmental Science

These events will take place on Wednesday 15 November in Glasgow, and on Tuesday 21 November in Dundee.

Each event will focus on the National 5 and Higher Environmental Science assignments, which are returning for session 2023-24 onwards. They are mainly aimed at teachers and lecturers who are delivering the assignments for the first time. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss delivery and assessment of the assignments during workshop activities.

The events are split into a morning session for Higher Environmental Science and an afternoon session for National 5 Environmental Science – please book onto book sessions.

Additional event for National 5 RMPS

We have added an extra date for National 5 RMPS on Monday 6 November in Dalkeith.

This event will focus on the standards required for assessment in the National 5 RMPS course. Attendees will have the opportunity to review and discuss candidate evidence with colleagues during workshop activities.
