2023 past papers now available
The 2023 past papers and marking instructions are now available from the past papers section of our website.
For many subjects, the 2022 and 2023 past papers are labelled ‘modified’. This indicates that we made changes to the question paper to reflect the modifications to assessment that were in place during sessions 2021-22 and 2022-23. For example, the question paper may be shorter, have fewer marks or contain fewer topics than past papers from previous years.
We have standardised the marking instructions for each past paper following the marking of the 2023 exams.

Digital question papers
The 2023 digital question papers are also available from the past papers section of our website.
These are digitised versions of question papers that we provided to disabled candidates or candidates with additional support needs, who may have difficulties with reading or writing, or both.

Braille question papers
We have also published Duxbury files (.dxb) for braille question papers that were used by learners during the 2023 exam diet as part of an assessment arrangement. Centres need specialist software and brailling equipment to access these files.
Alternatively, print copies of Braille question papers (PCB) are available as PDF files.
