Understanding Standards - new events and webinars announced

We have added more events and webinars to our 2023-24 Understanding Standards programme.

New Physics events

The following events will focus on the coursework assessments returning to National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher Physics courses for session 2023-24.

These are full day events, which are split into morning (AM) sessions and afternoon (PM) sessions for each level. When booking onto an event, please select a morning session for one level and an afternoon session for a different level – for example, you could book onto National 5 Physics for the morning slot and Higher Physics for the afternoon slot.

Please note: the afternoon sessions are a repeat of the morning sessions, so there is no need to book onto the same level twice.

New webinars

16 November - National 5 Practical Cake Craft, 4.30 - 5.30 pm

This webinar will provide information and support on the use of command words in the National 5 Practical Cake Craft question paper, as well as guidance on how to complete paperwork for the assignment.

29 November - Higher Photography, 4.30 pm - 5.30 pm

This webinar will focus on the national standards required for the Higher Photography question paper and project – including the minor amendment we recently made to the wording of question 12 in the question paper.
