National Qualifications - 2023 course reports

Today we have published the first of our 2023 course reports for National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher courses.

Course reports are now available for National 5 to Advanced Higher English, and National 5 to Advanced Higher Mathematics. You can access them from ‘course reports’ tabs on the NQ English webpages and the NQ Mathematics webpages for each level.

We will publish course reports for all subjects over the coming weeks. These will be available from each of our NQ subject webpages at www.sqa.org.uk/nqsubjects.

All 2023 course reports will be available by the end of October.

About course reports

Course reports are produced by SQA’s principal assessors and other senior appointees. The reports highlight areas of the 2023 exams and coursework where learners performed well, and any areas that proved demanding.

They also contain helpful and constructive advice on preparing learners for the coming year’s assessments, as well as statistical data relating to grade boundaries.
