Students who have successfully completed the following SQA Advanced Certificates and Diplomas and have achieved the required English language requirements will be considered for admission to one of the following courses:

SQA Advanced Certificate Electrical Engineering provides entry into the second year of BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering

SQA Advanced Diploma Business provides entry into the final year of BSc (Hons) Business Management

SQA Advanced Diploma Computer Science provides entry into the final year of BSc (Hons) Computer Science

SQA Advanced Diploma Electrical Engineering (fixed framework) provides entry into the final year of BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering – specific optional units are required for entry (Mathematics for Engineering 3, Applications of Power Electronics in Electrical Motor Drive Systems, Application of Programmable Logic Controllers, Quality Management: An Introduction, Control Systems Behaviour and Digital Electronics)

SQA Advanced Diploma Mechanical Engineering provides entry into the final year of BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering – specific optional units are required for entry (Analogue Electronics: An Introduction or DC and AC Principles, Mathematics for Engineering 3, Engineering Mathematics 4 or Engineering Mathematics 5, Economics of Manufacture, Application of Programmable Logic Controllers or Industrial Systems or Fundamentals of Control Systems and Transducers (2 out of these 3 units).
