Alternative Assessment Sites and Partnership Arrangements

As part of ongoing improvements, SQA has taken steps to support centres who use multiple assessment sites, partnership arrangements or distance learning/online delivery of SQA qualifications.

You must now inform SQA if you intend to use any of the following in delivering SQA qualifications or customised awards:

You must declare these intentions when applying for new qualification approval.

If you introduce any of these arrangements after gaining approval to deliver a qualification, you must complete this declaration form and submit it to SQA.

Full guidance is available here:

Please be aware that your Centre Operating Agreement with SQA requires you to 'promptly, fully and accurately complete and submit to SQA such forms as SQA may reasonably specify'. This includes providing information on alternative assessment sites and partnership delivery before you deliver a qualification/customised award.
