SQA has published its 2018-19 Annual Review. The review complements the 2018-19 Annual Report, which was tabled at the Scottish Parliament at the end of last year.
The Annual Review 2018-19 gives us the opportunity to highlight to you the projects and initiatives that we have delivered as part of our role as Scotland’s national awarding and accreditation body over the last financial year.
The past year’s review covers a number of milestones and achievements aligned to SQA’s corporate objectives. The highlight of which was 2018 Scotland’s Year of Young People, and we were uniquely placed to champion the fantastic contribution young people across the country make to communities throughout Scotland.
Commenting on the review, Fiona Robertson, SQA Chief Executive, said: “The past year has been full of celebration and endeavour at SQA. SQA is a presence in the lives of people of all ages throughout Scotland and beyond. Our qualifications mark out the stages of learners’ journeys, from education and training into further study and progression through employment. I firmly believe that this Annual Review fully demonstrates the contribution we make, and how we support and deliver our public commitments.”
