NQ Verification Update
NQ verification: round 2
Further to the selections published on 24 January, visiting verifiers have been advised to contact centres to arrange a suitable date and time to complete verification activity.
Materials for event verification (we will issue selections on 9 March) will be uplifted by courier on Tuesday 21 April 2020. You can find information on constructing your verification sample in Verification Submission Guidance on the External Verification pages of the SQA Website

Round 2 selections for verification events: National 1 – Advanced Higher and SCQF Level 5, 6 & 7
Selections for round 2 verification events will be available on SQA Connect from 9 March. If you have been selected, you will receive an email providing further information. Round 2 verification activity will focus on Added Value Units, Internally Assessed Components of Course Assessment, and some specified units. SQA Connect will clearly state which type of verification you have been selected for.
Stationery, including carrier reports and Verification Sample Forms, will be dispatched to centres on 19 and 20 March. Guidelines on collating samples for verification will also be provided.
Uplift of materials will take place by courier on 21 April. All materials should be packaged and ready for uplift by this date.

Round 2 verification outcomes
Outcome reports and records for all round 2 verification activities will be available via 'QA Secure Services' on SQA Connect by Friday 5 June.
The NQ Verification team will be on hand to provide support and guidance following the publication of verification outcomes. Should your centre receive a 'Not Accepted' decision, we will provide further information on what to do next by e-mail.
