Arrangements for assessing National 3, National 4 and freestanding units in session 2020–21
As a result of the modifications to Higher and Advanced Higher course assessments for session 2020–21 — and the modifications to National 5 course assessments that were planned prior to the cancellation of the 2021 National 5 exams — we have been exploring the implications for National 3 and National 4 courses, and some freestanding units at SCQF levels 5, 6 and 7.
We are making modifications to National 3 and National 4 assessments, and freestanding unit assessments, for the following subjects in session 2020–21. These modifications aim to support the delivery of learning, teaching and assessment this session.
We have published summary documents that detail the arrangements for these assessments in session 2020–21. These are available from the relevant NQ subject pages of our website at www.sqa.org.uk/nqsubjects and you can also access them from the links below.
