Introducing Digital Services Support
We have created a new helpdesk provision to support our digital learning and assessment services across SQA centres. The new Digital Services Support team has an increased capacity to support the growing demand for these services. This single integrated helpdesk provision is now the central point of contact for the four Digital Services we provide and will ensure a consistent and customer-focused approach with guaranteed support hours.
Digital Services Support will provide a first-class customer service to the users of the following:
- e-assessment system which is used by schools, colleges and training providers
- on-line learning provision to SQA employees and appointees
Content Producer support
- support for appointees and SQA staff on using Content Producer (a content creation software that helps centres create question items to be used in paper-based and on-screen assessments)
Understanding Standards website
- provides teachers and lecturers with resources and guidance on assessment standards for specific subjects
In addition to the new helpdesk, we have added a chatbot for SOLAR enquiries. The chatbot answers the most frequently asked questions and is available on the website to ensure out-of-hours support. We aim to add the chatbot feature to the other three digital services in the near future.
This dedicated provision, along with the new contact support tools, will offer access to specialist resources and will provide a quicker and more efficient experience for you, especially those accessing multiple services. The service will be available to schools, colleges, training providers, teaching staff, appointees and SQA staff.
