EC02 - Entry Creation by Exemption

Entry Creation by Exemption (EC02 form) is used to request the entry of a finished/lapsed qualification which is no longer available on SQA Connect.

Lapsed Awards

Before submitting your request, please ensure the candidate has been entered for the mandatory units that make up this group award.

You must provide the following information in the additional information section:

Details of when the candidate started the award.
The reason why the candidate was not entered prior to lapse date. Administration error is not sufficient.
If there is a revised qualification available, what is the reason that the candidate is not entered on this?

Finished Awards

Before submitting your request, please ensure the candidate has been entered and resulted for every unit required to gain the qualification.

You must provide the following information in the additional information section:

Details of when the candidate started and finished the award.
The reason why the candidate was not entered prior to the finish date. Administration error is not sufficient.
Confirmation that the college still has the candidate portfolio available for external verification.
If there is a revised qualification available, what is the reason that the candidate is not entered on this?

For finished SVQs, we will present this information to our regulatory body and inform you of their final decision.
