The next generation of National Qualifications
Curriculum for Excellence is about helping all young people in Scotland to take their place in a modern society and economy.
It provides a framework that will enable children and young people to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens, and effective contributors.
SQA is one of the four partner national organisations involved in Curriculum for Excellence. We work with partners on all strands of the development. Our principal role is to contribute to work on qualifications and assessment.

The next generation of National QualificationsOn 10 June 2008, the Scottish Government launched a consultation on the next generation of National Qualifications in Scotland. The consultation was open for responses until 31 October 2008.
