As well as providing qualifications in the language, and for other subjects delivered in the language, SQA has an important role in developing and maintaining Gaelic.
This document has proved to be a valuable foundation for many areas of Gaelic development, as Gaelic usage has expanded into different domains of public life in Scotland.
