Scottish Progression Awards (SPAs) have been designed by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) as a good way to get yourself started on the road to getting a qualification that recognises the skills and knowledge which you use in your work, or which you will gain during work placement or work experience.
Offered by colleges and some universities, these awards are available at post-graduate and post-experience level, spanning a wide variety of occupational areas.
