Welcome to SQA's programme of Professional Development Workshops. We are continuing to build on previous successful programmes and are pleased to provide a range of workshop topics during 2011.

This year we are piloting online workshops. We hope that by introducing online workshops we are able to reach more teachers as the cost will be much less. The online workshops will be delivered on the SQA Academy website (www.sqaacademy.org.uk). By delivering workshops online, teachers will be able to do the course in their own school or home and there will be much greater flexibility in ‘when’ they participate.

All of our workshops are developed and delivered by subject specialists who are looking forward to meeting and working with you.

By attending a SQA Professional Development Workshop you will have the opportunity to:

• Network with peers
• Identify best practice and new ideas
• Provide proof of your own continuing professional development

There are no Professional Development Workshops running at the moment, however, information will be added to this page as soon as a new programme of events is planned.
