Learner Evaluation - round 2
The team is getting ready for the second round of learner engagement. Arrangements for the learner focus groups are underway; pilot centres have been advised of allocated dates and times, and most focus groups have been confirmed. The focus groups will take place between April and May. If you haven't already done so, please confirm the allocated date(s) and time(s) for your centre as soon as possible by contacting nextgen@sqa.org.uk. If the date(s) and time(s) are not suitable, get in touch and we will make alternative arrangements to suit your centre.
We will send a Discussion Guide to pilot centres in advance of the focus groups. This guide should be shared with learners, in order to allow them enough time to become familiar with the questions. The Discussion Guide will revisit some similar topics from the first round, such as meta-skills and learning for sustainability; and have a greater focus on assessment and grading.
