Quality Assurance
We want to remind pilot centres about our Quality Assurance approach for NextGen: HN.
Our model is based on touchpoints held throughout this session. We aim to provide a supportive and progressive process of external quality assurance whilst continuing to ensure that standards are being met and maintained during assessment practice. We will reserve one of the touchpoints for our External Quality Assurers (EQAs). We will use this touchpoint to confirm assessment decisions by measuring centre evidence against quality assurance criteria. There will be no separate verification allocation for this qualification delivery. A Visit Plan will be issued in advance of the qualification verification touchpoint to allow for preparation. Preparation for the event may include the review of candidate evidence i.e., identifying which units/candidates have been chosen for sampling.
If you do not have a Quality Verification touchpoint in the diary, your EQA will be in touch over the next few weeks to arrange a date.
