Quality assurance guidance

Our NextGen: HN quality assurance process for session 2023-24 has begun in earnest. Pre-delivery meetings are being scheduled and carried out by external quality assurers for all NextGen: HN prototype qualifications.  

We have recently published Next Generation: Higher National Quality Assurance - Guidance for Centres on our website. This guidance focusses on the quality assurance process for NextGen: HN qualifications and highlights the differences between the mainstream approach to quality assurance and the NextGen: HN quality assurance model.  

This guidance should be used in conjunction with the Qualification Verification: Guidance for Centres which is available on our website.
