Important information for session 2023 - 24
The Data and Certification project team can provide support throughout the candidate entry, results, quality assurance, finance, and certification process of your NextGen: HN pilot.
We would like to highlight some important information for session 2023 – 24.
Candidate entries and results
Candidate entries will continue to be processed through your normal data submission methods. This may be through MIS or SQA Connect – Candidate Services.
During the 2023 – 24 session, colleges will be unable to result Group Awards using normal data submission methods. Alternatively, we have created a SharePoint site where Group Award results can be transferred to SQA securely. However, unit results must still be processed via normal data submission methods.
Demonstration or refresher workshops to explain the process for sending NextGen: HN Group Award results via SharePoint can be arranged on request for pilot centres and/or staff members.
Invoicing for NextGen: HN’s
An invoice will be issued in March 2024 for all entries processed for the 2023 - 24 pilot phase of NextGen: HN. Entries received from 1 March 2024 will be invoiced monthly.
The price applied to NextGen: HN will be the same as traditional HNs - £103.75 for HNC, £125 for HND and £14.50 fee for students progressing from HNC to HND.
