Secure storage and handling of exam materials - visits to centres during exam diet
During the exam diet, our quality enhancement managers (QEMs) will carry out a number of unannounced visits to centres to check on the secure storage areas and implementation of procedures for secure storage and handling of exam materials. This is in line with practice from previous years and allows us to speak to chief invigilators directly to provide support and ensure that everything is running smoothly. Visits should only last for 15 to 20 minutes.
On arrival at centres, the QEM will report to reception and ask your colleagues to advise you as a courtesy of the visit. Please note that you don’t need to prepare anything for a visit and that there is no need for you to meet with the QEM, unless any difficulties are encountered in locating the chief invigilator.
