National Qualifications - incorrect course withdrawals

If a candidate is withdrawn from a course after they’ve submitted coursework, or after sitting a timetabled exam, they won’t receive a course award.

If a candidate changes level, they can only then achieve a course award based on the components they’ve completed at the new level.

We’ll contact you to advise of any candidates who’ve completed all components of the course assessment and who’ve been withdrawn from the course.

You must re-instate entries so that your candidates are certified correctly.

For SEEMiS centres

You should carry out all normal processes as per your leavers within SEEMiS. However, please ensure that you don’t submit any withdrawal files for your summer leavers prior to August certification.
