We have updated the evaluation format for learner and pilot centre engagement.
Pilot centre engagement

January 2025 & May/June 2025: Pilot centres in their first year have two one-hour sessions to discuss delivery progress and potential SQA support.

March 2025: Pilot centres in their second and third-year have a single one-hour meeting with the NextGen: HN Policy team or have the option to complete a short survey.
Learner Engagement
Established Centres (2+ years of pilot delivery):
- Surveys: Feedback from learners will be gathered through surveys at two points throughout the year (November 2024 and May 2025). There will be no face-to-face engagement unless the surveys highlight specific issues needing further discussion.
New/expanding centres (centres delivering a NextGen: HN qualification for the first time or expanding delivery to other campuses):
- Face-to-face focus groups and surveys: Learners will have the opportunity to provide feedback at two face-to-face focus groups (in November 2024 and May 2025) to identify any aspects of the new qualifications that could be enhanced to improve the learner experience. We will also give learners the opportunity to feedback through a survey.
