Invigilator recruitment for 2025 exams

With a shorter exam timetable in 2025, we’d like to remind you to work closely with your chief invigilators to review invigilator requirements. If you identify a shortfall in resource, please start to recruit additional invigilators as soon as possible.

Please also consider the potential increase in exam day admin for chief invigilators and, if required, nominate one or more additional depute chief invigilators to help.

We’ve provided full recruitment guidance to centres. However, if you require a further copy, please contact invigilation@sqa.org.uk and we’ll be happy to support.

If you have not already returned details to us of any invigilators whom you don’t wish to nominate for the 2025 exams, please do so as soon as possible.
