National Qualifications 2024 - survey
We're carrying out research into National Qualifications assessment 2024. This research will be carried out on an annual basis and will help us to understand the experiences of learners and educators who either sat or taught National Qualifications in the past year.
We anticipate that the findings of this research will be published in early 2025.
We hope that this research will help us build an evidence base relating to National Qualifications assessment, helping us understand how the system worked in practice and developing a deeper understanding of the views of learners and educators.
We’ve launched a survey for learners and educators, with the aim of understanding their experiences of National Qualifications assessment.
The surveys will be open until tomorrow, Friday 11 October, and are carried out on an anonymous basis.
We would appreciate your help by distributing the survey links to relevant audiences.
Educator survey
Please share this link with all educators who taught one or more National Qualification last year.
Learner survey
Please share this link with all learners currently in S5 or S6 and continuing or new college learners who sat National Qualifications in 2023-24.
We would like to collect as many learner views as possible, particularly from those who can be harder to reach such as care experienced young people, and learners from deprived backgrounds. Your help in encouraging these learners to contribute would be greatly appreciated.
In addition, we are keen to reach learners who left school or college this year. If you have a way of contacting these learners, we would be grateful if you could also ask them to complete the survey.
Thank you for your assistance in ensuring your colleagues and learners have the opportunity to share their views on National Qualifications in 2024.
