Higher History - More places available on upcoming webinars
We’re hosting two new Understanding Standards webinars to support you with preparing learners for the Higher History course assessment. The webinars will take place on the following dates.
- Thursday 12 December 2024 (13:30 – 15:30) – Question paper 2: Scottish History
- Wednesday 15 January 2025 (13:30 – 15:30) – Question paper 1: British, European and World History, and the Higher History assignment
More places available
We’re adding 50 more places to each webinar, which will be available to book from 10am tomorrow (Friday 6 December). As with all Understanding Standards webinars, bookings are limited to one place per school or college.
For anyone who is unable to attend, we’ll publish recordings of each webinar on our Understanding Standards website.
Answering your questions
We’ve increased each webinar by 15 minutes to allow more time for answering your questions. You’ll have opportunities to ask questions during each webinar, and you’ll also be invited to submit your questions to us in advance.
We’ve also provided the Scottish Association of Teachers of History with a link for teachers to submit questions to us, for those unable to attend.
We’ll capture all questions and answers a ‘question and answer’ document, which we’ll publish alongside each webinar recording.
