Withdrawal of open entries - schools, employers and training providers

From Monday 3 February 2025, we’ll withdraw all open entries for Scottish schools, employers and training providers that have a completion of 31 December 2023, and any entries on qualifications that have passed their finish date. This doesn’t include National Courses.

You can check if your centre has any affected entries on SQA Connect - Navigator. You must result or update the completion dates of any remaining entries if required.

Removing outdated information on an annual basis ensures that we don’t select centres for verification where it’s not relevant. This will also allow timely certification to take place for candidates completing standalone units.

This information doesn’t apply to Scottish colleges. We’ll provide colleges with separate information next week about withdrawing open entries.
