Co-ordinator Update 24 March 2025

Entry deadline for National Courses

The entry deadline for National Courses is Monday 31 March. Please ensure that entries for your learners are as accurate as possible by this date. Any new entry or change of level received after 31 March will incur a fee, although there’s no charge to withdraw a learner.

Submitting accurate data by this deadline is critical for us to plan and prepare for the 2025 exams. We use this data to ensure we issue your centre with the correct amount of stationery and question papers. Importantly, it also ensures that we recruit the right number of appointees for marking, which keeps appointee release from centres to a minimum.

Entering learners at the right level

When submitting entries for your learners, please consider the most appropriate level for their ability and the workload implications associated with each qualification. Dual entering a learner for a subject at both National 4 and National 5 levels is likely to increase their workload.

National 4 entries

Our policy is that any National 4 entries we receive after the end of summer term will be deferred to 2026.
