Verification update

The NQ Verification team is available to provide you with support and guidance following the publication of verification outcomes. If your centre receives a 'Not Accepted' decision following verification activity, we’ll email you with information on what to do next. If you need any assistance with your verification outcomes, please call us on 0345 213 6766 or email nqverification@sqa.org.uk.

You must submit all follow-up materials for ‘Not Accepted’ verification decisions as soon as possible, and by no later than Monday 16 June 2025. This will allow follow-up verification to take place in time for August certification.

Submitting round 2 verification materials

You can use the digital upload system to submit candidate evidence and supporting documentation for round 2 verification. The system is open until Tuesday 22 April 2025. You can find the guidance for this system on SQA Connect.

The physical uplift of verification materials for round 2 will take place on Friday 25 April 2025. If your centre is selected for verification, you can find information on constructing your verification sample in the verification distribution material that you’ll receive between 20 and 24 March.
