Extension to SVQs in Hospitality and Retail
We’ve extended the accreditation period for the following SVQs for one year.
The following SVQs in Hospitality have been extended to 30 June 2026:
- SVQ in Hospitality Services at SCQF Level 4 (GM2M 21)
- SVQ in Professional Cookery at SCQF Level 4 (GM2H 21)
- SVQ in Beverage Service at SCQF level 5 (GM2D 22)
- SVQ in Food and Beverage Service at SCQF level 5 (GM2E 22)
- SVQ in Food Production at SCQF level 5 (GM2F 22)
- SVQ in Hospitality Services at SCQF level 5 (GM2N 22)
- SVQ in Kitchen Services at SCQF level 5 (GM2G 22)
- SVQ in Professional Cookery at SCQF level 5 (GM2K 22)
- SVQ Production Chef at SCQF level 5 (GT1R 22)
- SVQ in Professional Cookery at SCQF level 6 (GM2J 23)
- SVQ Senior Production Chef at SCQF level 6 (GT1P 23)
- SVQ in Professional Cookery (Patisserie and Confectionery) at SCQF level 7

- SVQ in Retail Skills at SCQF level 5 (GP1E 22)

- SVQ in Retail (Visual Merchandising) at SCQF level 6 (GP1F 23)
We’ve also extended the accreditation period for the following SVQs for three years.
The following SVQs in Hospitality have been extended up to 30 June 2028:
- SVQ in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership at SCQF level 7 (GM2C 23)
- SVQ in Hospitality Management Skills at SCQF level 8 (GR3N 24)
The following SVQ in Retail have been extended up to 31 July 2028:
- SVQ in Retail (Management) at SCQF level 6 (GP1A 23)
