Survey seeking views of non-markers
We’re carrying out research into the recruitment and retention of National Qualifications markers across all subjects. As part of this research, we want to understand the views of teachers and lecturers who’ve never marked for SQA.
If this applies to you, we invite you to complete a short survey about your views on marking. We appreciate that it’s a busy time right now with learners taking exams, but we encourage you to take part if you can.
The survey will remain open until Wednesday 28 May at 5 pm. It is anonymous and confidential – no identifying information about you or your centre will appear in the research outputs.
We’ll use the results of this research to make decisions about marker recruitment in the future, so it’s important that you have the opportunity to share your views with us. We plan to publish the research findings later in the year.
Alongside this survey, we’ve also carried out in-depth interviews with a sample group of markers and we’ve distributed a survey to teachers and lecturers with recent experience of marking for SQA.
