We need your help to reform National Qualifications
Over the next few years, we’ll review and reform our qualifications to ensure they fit a modern Scotland. We need your input and this month we’re starting a series of workshops to run throughout September and October – giving you the opportunity to influence the future of Scotland’s National Qualifications.
Join one of our interactive online or in-person workshops where we'll explore key aspects of qualification design including; structure, modularisation, assessment weighting and grading approaches.
The workshops are part of a wider programme of engagement and co-design activities that will run from now until October 2028. We'll be offering a range of opportunities for educators, learners, parents, carers and employers to have their voices heard and be able to contribute to the development of Scotland's future qualifications. We’ll share more information soon about how you can get involved in the wider programme of work.

Workshop details
In-person events in Dalkeith and Glasgow, with an option to join online for those unable to travel. We also have three online-only dates.
Dalkeith
- Friday 25 September 2026: 10 am to 12.30 pm
Glasgow
- Thursday 8 October 2026: 10 am to 12.30 pm
- Friday 9 October 2026: 10 am to 12.30 pm
Online-only
- Monday 19 October 2026: 4 pm to 5 pm
- Tuesday 20 October 2026: 4 pm to 5 pm
- Thursday 22 October 2026: 4 pm to 5 pm
Please only choose one event and if you’ve previously attended one of these sessions, delivered by us at your centre, there’s no need to book again as we’ll cover the same content.
