This website and all its content (‘the website’) belongs exclusively to the Scottish Qualifications Authority, (‘SQA’) a Non-Departmental Public Body responsible to the Scottish Parliament, through the Scottish Government Education Department, for the development and management of assessment and certification of a wide range of qualifications in Scotland.
SQA was established under Section 1 of the Education (Scotland) Act 1996. Our usual place of business is at The Optima Building, 58 Robertson Street, Glasgow G2 8DQ, Scotland, and we can be contacted by telephone on 0303 333 0330, or by e-mail on firstname.lastname@example.org.
SQA makes all reasonable efforts to ensure that all information provided through this website, published on the internet, is accurate at the time of inclusion. Privacy Statement and Data Protection
This Privacy Statement sets out the data processing practices of SQA for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 and related legislation, through the use of the internet and the World Wide Web. SQA has in place a valid notification with the Information Commissioner in terms of the Data Protection Act 1998. Data Protection Act (1998) - Request for access to personal data
SQA collects personal information from visitors to this website through the use of enquiry and order forms, and every time you e-mail us your details. We may monitor and collect the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of visitors to our site, and this information may be used for analysis and statistical purposes.
We will use the details you provide us for the provision of information about services, and for administration, sales and marketing. We may need to disclose your details to our agents and other service providers for these purposes. We may assess your suitability for certain services we provide and reserve the right to decline your request if this is considered justified.
We will not share your details with third parties other than those agents and service providers used to meet your requirements. By your provision of personal information to us, you consent to our processing sensitive personal data about you where this is necessary, for example health information, and are protected under the laws of the United Kingdom and other countries.

SQA respects your right of privacy. If you tell us that you do not wish to have your personal information used in the ways we have specified, we will respect your wishes. You have a right to apply for a copy of the information about you that we hold (for which we may charge a small fee) and to have any inaccuracies corrected by contacting us on email@example.com.
If you do not wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please e-mail us on firstname.lastname@example.org, but remember that if you do so we will be unable to provide you with information about latest publications etc.

- SQA’s copyright must be expressly acknowledged according to the instructions of SQA in the reproduced copy
- any worked answers prepared by you/on your behalf must be clearly identified as not being provided, or approved, by SQA
- you are responsible for obtaining advance written permissions for third party copyright materials used with permission by SQA (details are supplied by SQA) and complying with these terms and conditions. SQA does not provide you with any permission on behalf of third parties.
- for any electronic use, where practical, links to the SQA website should be used rather than hosted material.
A charge is made for past papers being used for commercial purposes. This is currently £10 plus VAT per question.
From 1 April, 2014, past paper charges will be:
Multi-edition (up to three years)
Use of past paper (per question) - UK
£25 plus VAT
£40 plus VAT
Use of past paper (per question) - international
£40 plus VAT
£65 plus VAT
There is a minimum charge per order of £60 (plus VAT) and prices are subject to change.
For commercial purposes, no more than 30% of the questions from any individual past paper may be used in any one publication or resource.
All other rights are reserved. Subject to the above terms and conditions and/or any express prior approval by SQA, none of the contents of this website may be copied or otherwise incorporated into or stored in any other design, logo, website, electronic retrieval system, publication or other work in any form (whether hard copy, electronic or other). For the avoidance of doubt, linking to or framing of this site or any part of it is not permitted without express permission.
Publications downloaded from this website may have their own specific copyright notices, and you should follow the instructions as stated on the title page.
