Team Leaders: Science and Language Baccalaureates 2012/13

In the third year of the Science and Language Baccalaureates we are pleased to offer a new and exciting role to existing Baccalaureate External Verifiers. Applications are invited for the posts of Team Leader for NQ Science Baccalaureates and NQ Language Baccalaureate for the 2012 session.

Senior External Verifier: Mathematics and Statistics (Higher National) (2012/13)

Applications are invited for the post of Senior External Verifier - Higher National (HN) Mathematics and Statistics to quality assure HN Courses and Units (and selected NQ Units) within their remit and to manage the teams of External Verifiers deployed in these areas.

Senior Examiner (General Duties) - Art and Design Higher 2013

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Examiner for Art and Design Higher 2013 examination diet. Applicants will be expected to be actively engaged in the delivery of these qualifications and should preferably have at least three years experience of marking, examining, setting or vetting work for SQA.

External Verifier - Forestry (2012)

Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for Higher National (HN) and SVQs in Forestry for the 2012 session.

External Verifier: Accessing & Rigging (Scaffolding) (2012)

Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for SVQs (level 1-3) in Accessing and Rigging for the 2012 session. Applicants will be expected to have sufficient, verifiable, relevant experience and knowledge of the occupational areas to be verified and have knowledge and understanding of the Construction Industry Scaffolding Record Scheme (CISRS).

Gaelic-medium Markers: Standard Grade and Higher Mathematics

Applications are invited for Gaelic-medium Standard Grade and Higher Mathematics Markers.

External Verifier: HN Philosophy (2012)

Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for HN qualifications in Philosophy for the 2012 session. Applicants will be expected to have sufficient, verifiable, relevant experience and knowledge of the areas to be verified and have knowledge and understanding of current practices. Ideally candidates should have experience in delivering the Philosophy units in the HNC/HND Social Science.

External Verifiers: Social Science Baccalaureates 2012/13

In preparation for the delivery of the new Social Science Baccalaureate in August 2012, which is currently under development, applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for the 2012/13 session.

External Verifier: Legal Services 2011/12

Applications are invited for a number of posts of External Verifier: Legal Services. Applicants will be expected to have sufficient, verifiable, relevant experience and knowledge of one or more legal specialism.

External Verifier: Higher PBNC Care Practice (2011/2012)

Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for the Higher PBNC Care Practice for the 2011/2012 session. Applicants will be expected to have a thorough knowledge of current health and social care issues and the necessary skills required to work with service users in a care environment. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate current experience in the delivery and/or quality assurance of the qualification.

External Verifier: Higher PBNC Mental Health (2011/2012)

Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for the Higher PBNC Mental Health Care for the 2011/2012 session. Applicants will be expected to have a thorough knowledge of issues relating to mental health and mental illness. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate current experience in the delivery and/or quality assurance of the qualification. 

External Verifier: Contact Centre Operations (2011/12)

Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for the SVQ Contact Centre Operations at levels 2 and 3. Applicants will be expected to have sufficient, verifiable, relevant experience and knowledge of the qualification. 

Visiting Assessor: Drama Intermediate 1 & 2

Applications are invited for Visiting Assessor roles in Drama at Intermediate 1 & 2.

Applicants will be actively involved in the delivery and/or assessment and must currently be teaching Drama at Intermediate 1 and/or 2. Visiting Assessment normally takes place from February to April each year.

External Verifiers: Higher Photography (2011/12)

Applications are invited for External Verifier posts for Higher Photography for the 2011/12 session. Applicants will be expected to be actively engaged in the delivery of the National Qualification in Higher Photography. Should an applicant require release from their employer, they should discuss this before making an application as approximately 5 days release is anticipated in the annual contract period.

External Verifier: Construction (Plant & Operations) (2011/12)

Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for SVQ Construction (Plant & Operations) levels 1, 2 and 3 for the 2011/12 session. Applicants will be expected to have sufficient, verifiable, relevant experience and knowledge of the occupational areas to be verified and have knowledge and understanding of the Industry.

External Verifier: Heating & Ventilation (2012)

Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for SVQs (level 1-3) in Heating & Ventilation for the 2012 session.

External Verifier: Mechanical Engineering Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (2012)

Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for SVQs (level 1-3) in Mechanical Engineering Refrigeration and Air Conditioning for the 2012 session.

External Verifier: Building Services Engineering (2012)

Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for HN & NQ qualifications in Building Services Engineering for the 2012 session.
