Assessment Arrangements Request system
The Assessment Arrangements Request (AAR) system opened for registration and requests on Monday 21 October. We emailed you on that date with a user ID and security code to register your centre on the AAR system.
You must register as a new user the first time you use the AAR system for any requests relating to National Qualifications in 2024–25.
Please note the following deadlines for the AAR system:
- Adapted and modified question paper requests: 31 January 2025
- All other assessment arrangement requests for main diet exams: 28 March 2025
We’ve published the guidance on using AAR, ‘Assessment Arrangements Request System - A guide for centres’, on the SQA Secure website. We’ve updated the guide and it now includes a new troubleshooting section.
More information about assessment arrangements is available on the ’About assessment arrangements’ page of our website.
We’ve also updated the Assessment Arrangement Learner Agreement form – you should use this form to capture learner and parental and/or carer consent for assessment arrangements.
