Professional Development Awards

This section is for those developing, validating and delivering Professional Development Awards (PDAs).

New design principles and titling for the revision and development of PDAs have been agreed and all PDAs will be revised and developed in line with these.

Browse PDAs

PDAs are principally designed for those already in a career or vocation who wish to extend or broaden their skills base. They may also be embedded within another qualification such as HNC/HND.

SCQF Level 9+

The aim of the SCQF Level 9+ project is to establish a framework for the development of vocationally focused PDAs at SCQF level 9 and above.

Global Planning Tool

The Global Planning Tool provides stakeholders with regular information on new PDAs being developed and the review of existing PDAs.
