Finalisation of the Group Award specification
Following the validation meeting:
The Group Award specification writer is responsible for amending the Group Award specification document to:
- meet any conditions set by the validation panel
- reflect any recommendations made by the validation panel, where appropriate
- submit the amended document to the SQA Lead Officer
where conditions set - the SQA Lead Officer is responsible for initiating the mechanism agreed for lifting validation conditions ie reviewed by SQA representative or SQA representative and chairperson
once validated – for centres without devolved authority to validate Group Awards, the SQA Lead Officer is responsible for initiating operationalisation procedures.
Centres with devolved authority to validate Group Awards are responsible for initiating operationalisation procedures.
