We will review and update the European Union content in the National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher course specifications before next session (2024-25).
While there are no modifications to assessment in Economics courses for session 2023-24 onwards, and therefore the whole course can be assessed, please note that the 2024 question papers will not ask any direct questions on the European Union. This applies to Economics exams at all levels.
As we previously advised, we will continue to publish the macroeconomic topics specific to the Advanced Higher question paper each year. We will publish the 2024 topics in November on the Advanced Higher Economics webpage.
