Initiatives

Commonwealth Games 2014

SQA has been actively engaged with Scottish Government and the Legacy Committee of Scotland's Commonwealth Games 2014, working to ensure that the Games leave a lasting legacy in Scotland.

Get That Job

Get That Job is designed to enhance employability of students doing a National Certificate by helping them to recognise the skills they are developing as they do their Course.

European Funded Projects

Over recent years SQA has managed and been a partner in European Social Fund projects. These have enabled the creation of new qualifications and support materials across a wide range of curriculum areas.

More Choices More Chances

SQA believes that all learners should have the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Find out how our qualifications can be used to offer more choices and opportunities for those vulnerable, disengaged and hard-to-reach learners.

Show Racism the Red Card

Racism has no place in Scotland and we want to get that message across loud and clear through our creative competition. Our 2013 competition is bigger and more inclusive than ever before.

Diva

DIVA is recognised as a strong project which has contributed significantly to Scotland’s portfolio of qualifications.

It has featured as an example of global best practice at the Davos World Economic Forum and supports collaboration between the education sector and industry.
