MySQA

This is our service which allows learners to sign up to receive their exam results on Results Day by text and/or email. They only need their Scottish Candidate Number (SCN), date of birth and an email address to do so. Learners will still receive their certificate on Tuesday 5 August regardless, but this service can be useful for learners who usually receive their post later in the day or are not planning to be home on Results Day.

Learners can sign up until 16 July: https://www.sqa.org.uk/mysqa

SQA learner hub

This is our one-stop shop for useful resources, hints and tips to help support learners through preparing for, taking exams and awaiting results. SQA keeps this page up to date with new and updated information throughout the academic year.

Your Exams

Your Exams is our resource which covers what learners need to know about National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher exams to help them prepare.

It contains rules which are there to make sure that exams are fair for everyone, such as information on writing answers and what learners need to know about Artificial Intelligence. It also includes details of what learners can expect on exam day, and what they can and can’t take into the exam room.
