Your National Qualifications

This is our resource designed to provide learners, parents and carers with everything they need to know about coursework and preparing for exams. This includes information on using sources, word counts, deadlines – as well as information on plagiarism and using Artificial Intelligence. Your National Qualifications is available as a downloadable, digital resource only.

Ensuring learners download and understand the information and rules associated with submitting their coursework is important to help them avoid malpractice situations.

SQA’s learner booklet, Your National Qualifications, is available to download from their website.

The booklet contains important information for learners creating and submitting coursework for National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher. It also highlights the rules that learners must know and follow to ensure they are not penalised. Please encourage your child to download and read the booklet. If you have any problems accessing the booklet, please ask your child to speak to their pupil support.
