This year, Results Day is on Tuesday 4 August 2026.

Within this toolkit page, you’ll find resources and graphics to help you spread the word to learners, parents and carers through social media. We will update this page throughout the year.

Please feel free to use this content in its current format, or the information provided to help you shape your own content.

Qualifications Scotland Learner Support Hub and Your Results

The Qualifications Scotland Learner Support Hub is our package of results help and resources. There’s information on receiving results, understanding the results certificate, our appeals service, and much more. It includes links to our digital resource, Your Results, which has all the information learners need in one handy pdf. The Learner Support Hub is also the new name for our Candidate Advice Line – learners can call us from 8am on Results Day with questions about their certificate. We keep this page up to date with new and updated information throughout the academic year.

Appeals service

The Qualifications Scotland appeals service remains free to use and opens at 9am on Results Day, Tuesday 4 August. Our landing page contains information on exactly what an appeal entails, deadlines for the different types of appeals learners can submit, as well the different ways they can do so. There is also information within our Your Results resource mentioned in our Learner Support Hub section of our website and this toolkit page. On Results Day, the appeals page will update to include links to take users to our appeals service.

‘Your Results’ is an online guide from Qualifications Scotland to help learners feel prepared ahead of Results Day, which takes place on Tuesday 4 August 2026. It helps learners understand their Scottish Qualifications Certificate, and how the Appeals service works. It also includes information to help with planning next steps.

If you’re concerned about a grade on Results Day, you can use Qualifications Scotland’s free appeals service.

You'll be able to submit an appeal yourself, or you can ask your teacher or lecturer to do it for you.

And remember you can use the priority appeals service if you have a conditional offer for university, college or training.
