Updated qualification structure for SVQ Plant Operations (Construction) SCQF level 5

The SVQ Plant Operations (Construction) SCQF level 5 entered lapsing on 31 October 2025.

We are accrediting a updated qualification structure (108 KB) with significant changes, which will go live on 1 November 2025.

The main changes are:

• We’ve included a section on the use of endorsements, explaining their purpose and how they should be assessed.
• We refer to the number of credits required rather than the number of units, as endorsements are not separate units.
• Each route states exactly how many credits are needed.
• We’ve included an index for the optional routes, to help identify them.
• We’ve added hyperlinks to our unit codes.
