Detailed record of attainment
This part of the certificate gives more detailed information on the qualifications you’ve recently achieved. The detailed record of attainment includes:
- the code and level that we use for the qualification
- the full title of the qualification and component units (where applicable) you’ve achieved
- the grade achieved for each course/unit (if applicable)
- the month and year you achieved each course/unit
- the level/difficulty of each qualification – measured against the Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework (SCQF)
- SCQF credit points that represent learning time for each assessment (one credit point equals about 10 hours)
Any units you’ve failed or didn’t complete will not appear on your certificate.
The record may include a recognition statement next to the relevant course/group award, for example, a statement to highlight that a course was assessed and attained through the medium of Scottish Gaelic.
What it means
- National Courses: Course title and code, eg C847 75 Mathematics National 5
- National Units: Unit title and code for successfully achieved stand-alone Units
- Grade: Course grade achieved
- Date: Date of certification
- SCQF: Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) level
- SCQF credit points: SCQF credit points are only given to the units and external assessments that make up a Course or Group Award
